Answers to common questions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our production style thrives on atmosphere, tension, and narrative stakes. We specialize in Thriller, Mystery, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Horror, Historical Fiction, and Literary Fiction. If your story relies on mood and visual storytelling, we can build a world for it. However, non-fiction textbooks, highly technical manuals, or abstract concepts without a narrative core are generally not a good fit for our cinematic approach.

What genres are best suited for a cinematic trailer?

We do not. Picture books are best adapted as animated short films that preserve the original illustration style. For this, we recommend our sister studio, BookFilms.tv (a NexFrame Studios production), which specializes in bringing illustrated stories to life.

Do you produce trailers for children's picture books?

Visual fidelity relies on details—the specific way a character holds a cigarette, the architecture of a room, the quality of light in a scene. Sharing the manuscript ensures this consistency. However, if privacy is paramount, we offer a Manuscript Extraction Pack. This is a proprietary prompt file you can upload to any LLM (like ChatGPT) along with your text. It extracts only the visual and tonal data we need—without revealing your plot twists or full prose—which you then forward to us unedited.

I can't share my manuscript. Can I still order a trailer?

Yes. We don't guess. Upon ordering, you can opt to receive three distinct 'Concept Directions'—mood boards outlining the visual tone, pacing, and color palette. We only move to full production once you have approved a direction. If you don't respond within 72 hours, we will proceed with the recommended concept. Alternatively, you can grant our creative directors 'Final Cut' authority to expedite the process.

Will I see a storyboard before you make the full video?

Quality takes time, but we move fast. Teaser and Trailer packages typically deliver within 7 days. Extended and Bundle narratives require 14 days. The Director's Cut and Master Suite, involving 4K rendering and complex sound design, require 21 days. If you have a hard launch date, please specify it in your order.

What is the production timeline?

Precision matters. Every package includes one round of minor revisions to address on-screen text, timing, or voiceover nuances. Major structural changes (such as replacing entire scenes or changing the musical score) are available for an additional fee. You will have one calendar week after delivery to review the final cut and request adjustments.

What if I want to change something after delivery?

Completely. You receive a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your trailer across all platforms—social media, Amazon product pages, author websites, broadcast advertising, and film pitches. There are no recurring fees, no view limits, and no watermarks.

Do I own the rights to the trailer?

Each trailer includes a discreet production credit ("Produced by Book Trailers TV") in the end card — standard practice across the industry. If you'd prefer a clean, unbranded delivery, our White Label Delivery add-on ($49) removes all studio credits entirely. You can also replace our credit with your own publishing imprint or author logo. Simply specify your preference in the Contact form after placing your order.

Can I remove the studio branding or use my own logo?

Yes. We maintain dedicated production pipelines for several major and indie presses. Please contact us via the Contact page using your official publisher email address. We will forward our Publisher Partnership Pricing dossier, which details our volume tiers and discounted rate cards. Partners also receive access to a dedicated ordering portal.

Do you offer partnership pricing for publishing houses?

Absolutely. For single orders of 5 or more trailers, we apply a 20% discount. For orders of 10 or more, the discount increases to 30%. Please list your titles and desired packages in the Contact form, and we will generate a custom invoice with the volume pricing applied.

I'm an author with a backlist. Are there discounts for multiple orders?

Because every trailer is a bespoke production, our refund policy is based on timing. Cancellations within 24 hours of payment receive a full refund — no questions asked. Cancellations between 24 and 48 hours receive a 50% refund, as initial research and planning begin immediately. After 48 hours, production is considered underway and no refunds are issued. If we cancel your order for any reason, you will always receive a full refund.
